Weekend At Lindo Lake

I normally go to Lindo Lake every Saturday, but this weekend i stopped by both days.  Seeing my Canada Geese always puts a spring in my step!

These guys are standing in what is normally under water.

I am still hoping for rain. And i think the geese are trying to 'will' the lake to fill back up.

i love when they lay right next to me, it shows they trust me

She's not even trying to be beautiful, she just is

This little Mallard was taking a break for a drink of water and i just found him balancing on this rock skimming for water to be an adorable sight.

This is Fritz.  He's kind of a jerk to all the other geese, but i truly believe he is just trying to assert his authority and the truth is, it usually works.  Anytime spent with the geese, is always time well spent!
